ARiMI and RIMAS Sign MOU to Strengthen the Future of Risk Leadership

by | Jun 20, 2025

We’re delighted to announce that on 19 June 2025, ARiMI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Risk and Insurance Management Association of Singapore (RIMAS).

This partnership brings together two organisations with a shared purpose: to empower professionals across industries with the knowledge, recognition and community support needed to lead in an increasingly complex world of risk.

RIMAS, a non-profit organisation founded in 1988, has played a central role in shaping the risk landscape in Singapore. Sparked by the first risk management conference in 1986 and built on grassroots momentum from risk professionals, its formation marked a turning point for the discipline in the region. Since then, RIMAS has championed the vision that everyone is a risk manager, advocating for risk literacy and responsibility at every level of the organisation.

ARiMI, established in 2003 as the first institute in Asia dedicated to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) education and certification, has similarly led the way in developing advanced programs tailored for professionals and leaders navigating real-world complexity. With roots in collaboration with NUS Extension, ARiMI’s certifications have reached decision-makers across sectors, from healthcare and energy to finance, government and beyond.

This collaboration reflects a natural alignment of missions and values. ARiMI and RIMAS aim to strengthen professional development pathways by connecting early-stage competencies to enterprise-level capabilities. The collaboration also supports ethical, strategic and practical risk leadership in Singapore and across the region.

We look forward to working together to support a more resilient and forward-ready risk community.

Stay tuned for updates as we bring this collaboration to life.
