1. Dual Certification Track

Professionals Who Hold ARiMI-CERM™ and ARiMI-CPRM™ Certifications

Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates must hold both ARiMI-CERM™ and ARiMI-CPRM™ certifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years must have passed since the most recent ARiMI certification.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a risk management-related field, including 3 to 5 years in a senior management role.

Fees

  • Application Fee: $188
  • Certification Fee: Complimentary

Renewal and Maintenance

  • There is no renewal fee for the ARIMI-FSRLM designation.
  • The designation’s validity requires the ARiMI-CERM™ and ARiMI-CPRM™ certifications to remain in good standing, actively upheld, and compliant with its continuing requirements.

Additional Information

2. Single Certification Track

Professionals Who Hold Either ARiMI-CERM™ Or ARiMI-CPRM™ Certification

Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates must hold either the ARiMI-CERM™ or ARiMI-CPRM™ certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years must have passed since completing their certification.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in a risk management-related field, including 3 to 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Candidates are required to write a 1,000 to 1,500-word article on a current risk management issue. The article must meet publishable quality standards for the ARiMI Newsroom.

  • Application Fee: $188
  • Certification Fee: $498

Renewal and Maintenance

  • There is no renewal fee for the ARIMI-FSRLM designation.
  • The designation’s validity requires the ARiMI-CERM™ or ARiMI-CPRM™ certification to remain in good standing, actively upheld, and compliant with its continuing requirements.

3. Industry Track

For Professionals Without ARiMI Certifications

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants should preferably hold a Master’s degree from a reputable university in fields such as Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 8 years at management level in a role involving responsibility for risk management activities.
  • Applicants must demonstrate an advanced level of expertise in risk strategy.
  • Candidates are required to submit a 1,500 to 2,000-word article on a current risk management issue. The article must meet publishable quality standards for the ARiMI Newsroom.

Fees

  • Application Fee: $188
  • Certification Fee: $698 (valid for an initial period of 3 years).
  • Renewal Fee: $99.90 annually after the initial 3-year period.

Renewal and Maintenance

  • The ARIMI-FSRLM™ designation under the Industry Track requires annual renewal after the initial 3-year period.
  • Renewal is dependent on maintaining an active engagement in risk management activities and staying updated with relevant professional development.

  • Applicants will be required to provide proof of qualifications, work experience, and management responsibilities during the application process.
  • Articles submitted must demonstrate thought leadership and relevance to current risk management trends. Submissions will undergo a review process to ensure they meet ARiMI’s standards for quality and insight. Articles that meet these standards may either be published on the ARiMI Newsroom, showcasing the author’s expertise to a wider professional audience, or shared as an exclusive ARiMI resource to support learning and development initiatives within the risk management community.
